Time sure goes by, doesn’t it? It’s been a busy few weeks for me…

1. Yes, that’s me on the TV commercial in the airplane laughing my fool head off. It’s an ad for State Farm Insurance, alhtough I have had people tell me that they have seen my All State ad, my Southwest commerical, my airline ad, etc. I don’t mind what you call it as long as the checks show up in my mailbox!! I will try to get the commerical up, so those who haven’t seen it can…

2. The budlight spot continues to air as well.

Whew! Made it through the last couple of weeks. Here’s the rundown:

1. The Budlight ad did air in the 4th quarter of the Superbowl. They went with the version with the burlap sack on my head, so it was a brief appearance and you can’t recognize me, but fun anyway…the best news though was that my other commercial for State Farm aired right after the Superbowl and before the trophy presentation…so not technically airing during the Superbowl itself, we’ll fudge and say I had TWO commercials during the Superbowl…pretty cool, eh? I hadn’t seen the State Farm commercial and didn’t know it was airing, so that was a nice surprise…

POKER’S BEST & BRIGHTEST BATTLE ONE-ON-ONE FOR THE TITLE, “WORLD HEADS UP CHAMPION”

Heads Up poker has caught fire and the flames will be fanned at L.A.’s newly renovated Crystal Casino & Hotel. On February 5th – 8th, 64 of the world’s top players will compete in a $10,000 buy-in series of heads-up (one-on-one) Texas Hold’em matches, as players represent one of four international regions in their quest to be crowned the “World Heads up Champion”. This star-studded poker-pro tournament launches with a live pairing party on Monday, February 5th, hosted at the nearby Yosh’s Sushi Bar in the legendary Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens.

Well, it’s official - I am the new regular co-host for Live at the Bike. For those not familiar, it is a 3-hour program aired on the internet Mon-Fri from 7pm-10pm Pacific Standard Time. It’s not a show about tournament poker, this is live, cash game poker with, at times, ten of thousands of dollars at stake. For those interested, you can catch a 15 minute preview on the site nightly at 7pm. You can catch the entire show and watch all the shows in the archives for a subscription fee of $14.95.
