Bud Light ShootOriginally uploaded by LimboSaint.
So, the Bud Light Shoot happened last Friday. The plan was to meet at 1:30pm at Sable Canyon Ranch in Santa Clarita.
Sable Canyon is a place used for making many different films. They basically have a little ghost town for westerns (see photos via flickr to the left), and other various locations that can be used for films. See http://tinyurl.com/w2rfc and http://tinyurl.com/yezesd and http://tinyurl.com/ylvqw9 for the various films that have been shot there. Also, see http://employees.oxy.edu/jerry/sable.htm for a further explanation about Sable Ranch.
So, I arrived and they were shooting a different Bud Light spot.

Well, it’s official - I am the new regular co-host for Live at the Bike. For those not familiar, it is a 3-hour program aired on the internet Mon-Fri from 7pm-10pm Pacific Standard Time. It’s not a show about tournament poker, this is live, cash game poker with, at times, ten of thousands of dollars at stake. For those interested, you can catch a 15 minute preview on the site nightly at 7pm. You can catch the entire show and watch all the shows in the archives for a subscription fee of $14.95. And lastly, you can watch an individual episode for $2.95.

What a week…Casting Directors, Poker and More!
December 3, 2006 Add a comment
Wow, it’s certainly been an interesting week in my life. I got an audition for an HBO promo, which is being cast by a very well known casting director (big time, as it were!) and it turns out this is the casting director that was my first big film audition after graduate school. In fact, I missed my last class in graduate school to take the train up from North Carolina to NYC to meet with her and audition. Of course, sugarplums were dancing in my head as I thought, wow, wouldn’t this be the great story…missing my last class to audition for my first major film…get it, and then the next thing you know, I am on late night, telling Dave my story.
